Quest Project

A Quest Project, known formally as a semi-closed project, is where you are clear on what you want though unclear on how you will achieve it. Typically, an attractive prospect “it’d be great to have a global integrated project management system” might result in a quest.

The secret to success is to get your “knights” fired up to search for solutions and to have them return on a fixed date to report progress and share their findings. As necessary, continue to send them out until sufficient knowledge on how to achieve the goal is secured.
